Sunny Scottsdale

We went to Scottsdale, Arizona for Valentine’s weekend and to celebrate me finishing the last of the Moretti books. Typically the weather is 70-75. Yeah well, since I went, it was 62 both days! But I wasn’t one to complain. THE SUN WAS OUT! And no snow! We had a fabulous time. My husband is a good sport and he’ll go to a shopping mall with me, always on a handbag hunt. We look at shoes too. We had a nice lunch out, and then that night we enjoyed dinner at one of our favorite restaurants that’s not in Boise–McCormick and Schmidts. We enjoyed taking in an art fair, then for the big Valentine’s Day, we laid out by the pool (in the sun w/o any breeze, it was great), then we had dinner at Lon’s at the Hermosa Inn. It was so romantic and nice. I wore a pink dress and the restaurant gave me a pink rose.

We got home and I realized . . . we didn’t take any pictures! But it was a great time and I’m so grateful my husband planned the trip!

Today in Boise . . . guess what? It was snowing. Sigh.
